Episode 10 Tentative Script
So we’re now looking at episode number 10! This decade of shows has been notable for drastically improved technological competency on our part. As for the quality of our dialogue-who knows? The great thing about putting these facts and opinions out in to a public forum as we have done, is that it generates a certain amount of discussion. Lately, I’ve been noticing people, presumably listeners, come to me for help or opinions, fortunately – because of the research and time involved in preparing for this show – I actually have answers. The next 10 episodes should continue to see significant improvement as we are continuing to tweak the pace, content, character, and extras of our show. Please, keep listening and participating. The feedback we receive very much helps us to continue to improve our show.
Without further adoo, here’s the tentative show notes for episode 10. We are recording it this evening (Thursday Nov 12), post production will be fininshed tomorrow (Friday Nov 13), and we should see it cycled through the ITunes aggregator around Saturday (Nov 14).

Episode 8 Show Notes and Discussion
So here it is, the final cut of episode 8. We mixed it up a bit from the rough draft I posted earlier. I decided to update my ealier post and show itenerary to match our actual show notes, rather than repost the notes a second time. No need to be cumbersome with the extensive text below. The nice thing about these notes is that I have updated them with links so as to provide you, the reader/listener, with extra information about topics discussed within the podcast.
As for the podcast, we recorded it in three segments in the hopes of improving the quality and keeping the content fresh. As you might imagine 2 hours straight is quite a slog, but we never have a problem thinking of topics to discuss, or dumb things to say. The problem we run into is fatigue. Hopefully this change of pace helps both us the producers and you the listeners to maintain interest and focus.

What’s New Episode 6 & 7 in the Can
So, it’s definitely been a couple weeks since I updated this, but I think I’m taking this in a new direction. Instead of posting posthumous show notes, WhiteNoise is now going to post an itinerary prior to a new episode and elaborate, if necessary after the episode is uploaded to iTunes.
As for iTunes, the good news is-we are searchable as a podcast via the phrase: “WhiteNoise” from the iTunes store. Yippee! We even have a rating or two by this point. If you’ve stuck around long enough to make it through episode 5, you’ll definitely notice episode 6 & 7 are successively better than the previous. I’m encouraged by the positive feedback we’ve been receiving, and despite talking for 1.5 hours each episode, Matt and I both feel that we have even more to say every time-once we cut our microphones.
In episode 7, you’ll hear a special guest host-that’s something we’d like to incorporate occasionally, in addition to breaking the show up a bit more into segments, instead of a full 1.5 hour bum-rush of topics. Hopefully this helps our transitions and keeps our content fresh and interesting.
Without further ado: Episode 7 show notes-
Any thoughts?

White Noise Podcast #2, The Best, Worst Sequel Ever
UPDATE: Please excuse the static around the 80 min ~ min mark, we’re still having issues getting GarageBand to work correctly.
“In the event of Rapture, we’ll still be doing this podcast…” Matt ~ Episode 2
The last week has been hectic with relatives in for a wedding, Congratulations Sean & Katie Six. Matt and I had tentatively planned to push another podcast out Saturday morning, but that plan never materialized. Fortunately, Matt had free time last evening, and we were able to produce this gem for your listening pleasure.
Something that is frustrating both Matt and myself, is the static and echo issues we continue to encounter when producing this podcast. This is apparently a common occurrence with multiple microphones (USB) used in GarageBand. Looks like we’re going to need to spring for a little better equipment. At least that will be good for you the listener, and your ears.
The second episode was smoother than the first episode, mainly because introductions weren’t as weird and the content was fresh. In fact, even though we talk for nearly an ninety minutes in this episode, there was content we omitted (because of time). I guess that is what happens when you wait 10 days between podcasts.

New Podcast: The WhiteNoise Podcast
The first episode was AMAZING, but you’re not going to believe it because it was tragically deleted by Steve Jobs in a fit of rage. As he was LOL-ing, Matt’s Macbook was melting down. We lost our first podcast and had to redo it today (8/29) from scratch. All the brilliance we put into the first podcast, was lost. Well, maybe not. I thought the first go-round was pretty rough and it ended up good. We’ll see how this (podcast #09-01) turns out after I post it and listen to it.
